Senior Pastor Darwin Meighan

Pastor Meighan has been serving churches for the past 27 years – 10 years as a youth pastor, and 17 years as a senior pastor. He has been married to his wife, Linda for 32 years. Their children, Matt and Melissa are young adults and both are married.

He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University and a Master of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is presently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Church Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky – expected graduation is May 2013.

His hobbies and interests include: jogging, sports, listening to Christian music, raising George his Labrador Retriever and tropical fishkeeping.

Associate Pastor Cazzie Russell

Pastor Russell was called into the ministry in 1987 and ordained in 1989 under the leadership of Pastor Leayle Benjamin, at Covenant Christian Center in Los Angeles, California. He has been serving as an associate pastor for the past 22 years in the ministry of undergirding pastors and this has taken him, along with coaching, to several states; Atlanta Georgia, Grand Rapids and Saginaw Michigan, Columbus, Ohio and presently Savannah, Georgia. He has resided here the past fifteen years with his wife, Myrna of 25 years and they have 3 sons residing in California.

Hobbies and Interests: Sports, working out, coaching (individual tutoring), golf, Christian Music and contemporary jazz and he enjoys puzzles, working the Jumble and Sudoku.

Chantal has served at Live Oak Community Church for 8 years and other churches in Savannah totaling 13 years of church service.

She has been married for 28 years to her husband, David and they have two sons.
