Welcome to Live Oak!

We gladly welcome you to Live Oak Community Church. God started LOCC in the fall of 2003, and we have seen His hand continually blessing in great and mighty ways since our beginning together. We offer blended/contemporary music, quality childcare, impacting student ministries, relevant messages from the Bible, loving relationships, and a whole host of ministries to meet the needs our church, our community, and our world.

The LOCC family is diverse in the sense that we have people who come from many backgrounds and walks of life. We believe God loves this diversity, and he proves that by uniquely creating us to be His children. We fully experience what it means to be His child through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and through the fellowship found in a community of believers.


Our Vision: Live Oak is a place to help people discover life's foundation, friends and family.

Our Mission: Live Oak exists to help people discover and live out a full and purposeful life as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Our Model for Ministry:

Foundation - "Celebrating Life Together" (Discovering Jesus Christ as the foundation for your life)

Friends - "Growing in Life Together" (Connecting and growing in Christ together through small groups)

Family "Doing Life Together" (Finding your place of mission and ministry in God's family; serving together and bearing fruit on God's team)

 
Our model for ministry incorporates the following five purposes for the church:

Worship: We were planned for God's pleasure.

Fellowship: We were formed for God's family.

Discipleship: We were created to become like Christ.

Ministry: We were shaped for serving God.

Evangelism: We were made for a mission.
